Celebrate Peer Review Week 2020 with ORCID!

  • 1.  Celebrate Peer Review Week 2020 with ORCID!

    Dear all,

This year ORCID is also participating in the PRW2020 with a webinar on Thursday, Sep 24 at 10:00 EDT. Join us to find out how and why to use ORCID to help your researchers get the recognition they deserve for their review activities and services, and to increase trust and transparency in peer review. Learn from the experience of BMJ and how they integrate ORCID in their peer review workflows to acknowledge and share trustworthy connections with their reviewers.

    Registration is available on tinyurl.com/ORCIDPRW2020

There will be plenty of time for Q&A and we look forward to your participation!

    Regards,

Hurray, so glad that ORCID is continuing its involvement with Peer Review Week!

NISO is also participating this year for the first time, with a free webinar on Tuesday at 11am ET co-hosted with Cabells, about how standards and best practices support trust in peer review. Speakers are Melissa Harrison, eLife (JATS4R Chair); Alison McGonagle O'Connell, Delta Think and O'Connell Consultants (CredIT Co-Chairs); Tony Alves, Aries Systems; and Veronique Kiermer of PLOS. More information here: http://www2.cabells.com/webinar

I'd love to hear about any other PRW celebrations! There will be the usual week of posts on The Scholarly Kitchen, what else do people have planned? Don't forget to tell the PRW planning committee about them so we can help promote - just complete this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScZV6ZbYDudp0ocfXvuyO9CCW6yclcLoxO2ZRBPYshq86LboA/viewform

Thanks - and happy Peer Review Week 2020 everyone!
