    Hi all,

I'd love to introduce you to the Journal Editors Discussion Interface (JEDI), where I'm the community manager. JEDI provides the community of social science journal editors a forum in which to ask and answer questions, share information and expertise, and build a fund of collective knowledge. JEDI aims to facilitate discussion about evolving practices, and to help and encourage editors to develop a common language and set of norms and to generate solutions to problems new and old. JEDI was created and is managed by several members of the Data Preservation Alliance for the Social Sciences (Data‐PASS). The mailing list component of JEDI runs on Google Groups.

The majority of JEDI members are editors and editorial staff of social science journals, however we also welcome 'experts' on any topic that would be relevant to journal editors -- so if you have expertise in an area where you think you'd be able to answer questions that are posed in the community, then please consider joining! For example, we have members who are experts on data management, open science, etc.

I'm really excited to attend the SSP annual meeting and hope to 'see' you there -- please feel free to interact with me there or send me an email or DM on twitter if you'd like to chat more about this.

    Thanks lots,
    Priya
