(Also posted on the DEIA resources channel - apologies for duplication but want to make sure everyone sees this!)
I'm happy to say that
applications are now open for the NISO Plus 2023 scholarship program - due by close of business on December 6. The scholarships are intended for anyone working in information (including graduate students) who feels their voice/perspective is under- or un-represented in our community events and activities. We've had 40 participants in the three years to date, half of them from outside the US, which is something we are keen to continue. We'd also like to get more applicants from publishing (like
@Kasia Repeta - one of this year's winners!) and vendors/service providers.
Benefits include free registration at the NISO Plus 2023 conference, as well as free attendance at all our educational webinars for three years - plus lots of networking and professional development opportunities.
Anything you can do to help spread the word in your own organization and networks would be much appreciated - and please also feel free to apply yourself, of course! If you have any questions just let me know.
Thank you!
