Publisherspeak US 2024 is an unconference-style scholarly publishing event sponsored by Kriyadocs. It takes place on September 24 at the AGU Conference Center in Washington, DC.
The first edition of Publisherspeak occurred in DC last year, and the insights from the event have been published in

This year, we are excited to welcome Carlos Álvarez-Aranyos, Co-Founder of The American Sunlight Project, as our keynote speaker. He will address critical issues related to disinformation and integrity. We are delighted to have executive coach Ranieka Weston joining us to lead an interactive workshop focused on breaking boundaries and embracing change.
We also have four distinguished chairs-Audra Cox, Damita Snow, John Warren, and Katherine Lavallee-Sharma-leading breakout sessions on exciting topics:
- Creating efficient workflow processes and metadata
- Fostering intrapreneurship and innovation
- Identifying and addressing accessibility issues
- Supporting early career publishing professionals
