OSTP to hold briefing on changes to US public access policy
On November 7th, 2022 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm Eastern Time, the US White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) will hold what they are billing as a "Community Forum" on the recently released 2022 Public Access Memorandum titled, Ensuring Free, Immediate, and Equitable Access to Federally Funded Research. Although they provide an opportunity to submit questions that they say will be addressed during the webinar, they also have a lot of material to cover during the hour. STM will continue to advocate for more extensive dialogue to discuss and collaboratively develop solutions to the many implementation issues that have been identified (e.g., by the House Science Committee).
