I know there are a lot of PID fans out there in SSP land, and I very much hope that some of you will be able to make the journey to Leiden, Netherlands, from October 27-29, for the second PIDfest -- organized this time by SURF. Registration is now open, and @Mary Beth Barilla and I are on the steering committee so we can vouch for it being a great event, with a mix of session formats, from workshops and Birds of a Feather to lightning talks and posters. There are three great keynotes, and some fun social activities planned too.
